So, the question most people ask is what’s the process? For behavioural work we start with an initial 1-2-1 Behavioural Consultation in your home. This allows me to properly assess your dog, get a history of the behaviour and understand your goals. From here we discuss how we will be working together to modify this behaviour, with demonstrations and a training plan. Whats also important to me is that you receive an understanding of the psychology underpinning these behaviours.
After this first session you will practice the training methods that have been shown to you. I’ll let you know if it will be necessary to arrange a follow-up after about two weeks of you practising the techniques. In cases of general obedience training we will work together until you feel your dog is at the level you’re happy with, whereas when solving ‘problem behaviours’ (dog reactivity, separation anxiety, barking in the house etc.) we may just need one or two sessions.
As a CFBA Certified Canine Behaviourist most insurers will allow cover Behavioural Session fees– please check with your insurer or get in touch with me for further information on this.

Annie helped us with our 2 year old Cockapoo and was brilliant. We had one session and Annie identified the issue almost immediately and gave us clear steps to a quick resolution. I would highly recommend Annie. Calum Milligan2025-01-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Annie has helped us with my rescue dogs, Fifi and Tiger, separation anxiety and dog reactivity! After working with many trainers who I was disappointed with I am so relieved that Annie could immediately understand Tiger and what he needed. We would not hesitate to recommend Annie to anyone looking for behavioural help!’ Hannah Blunden2025-01-04Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We contacted Annie due to our dog Coco finding it difficult to adapt to us having a newborn baby (barking, overly excited, anxious and unsure what to do around her). Annie came during the holidays at short notice to help us and was so helpful and clear on the steps we needed to take. Within only a few hours Coco was so much calmer around the baby and has already learnt to give the baby space and how to behave around her. Thank you so much Annie! Annie is the perfect people if you’re looking for someone who is kind & patient, whilst also being fully qualified. She has been a vital part of my training journey with my reactive cocker spaniel. She is always on hand to offer advice & will listen to me rant when I need to too! Thanks so much Annie 🩷✨ Roseanne Shafier2024-07-25Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had our first session with Annie and we were blown away. She was really professional and approachable in her delivery! She gave us information that was digestible and put us at ease. We now have a clear plan and are even more excited for our dog to arrive! Bring on the next session, excited to learn more! Quality Chops2024-07-25Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Annie helped us greatly with Marvin’s stranger danger, gave us great advice on muzzle training which helped us be more confident handling him around stressful situations like the vet. He now tolerates the vet quite nicely and doesn’t want to eat the vet, and he doesn’t need the muzzle anymore once in the vet. He loves the Ani-Mal toys too, favourite is the sheep skin tug. Harriet Wildgoose2024-03-20Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our puppy is an absolute dream thanks to Annie’s training tips. She’s now walking in the park with no pulling and is walking past dogs with ease stress free. It’s a revelation tbh and all thanks to Annie’s great training tips after several other training tips from elsewhere not working so well. A huge thank you! Parul Tolentino2024-03-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Annie took time to discuss my anxious reactive dog on an initial consultation over zoom, I found her calm & knowledgable. If I lived nearer I would have worked with her without hesitation. The follow up email gave me advice which I am following and is actually making a difference, our dog walks are less stressful. I would like more support and I live far from Annie so I am trialling a local trainer purely due to the fact they are nearer (I have a lot of commitments that take up my week) however if that doesn’t work out I will reach out to her again as she suggested we could meet half way. Incredibly grateful to Annie and the advice she gave me. Valencia Property Investment- Juliette Valencia2024-01-17Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’m so grateful with Ani and her training. Coco was terrified of cars and dogs and walking her in the streets was a nightmare. She came for an initial two hours and rapidly understood coco’s needs. She gave us indications on how to train her and following her advice coco and I gradually learned to enjoy walking together in the street with busy cars . Dogs is still work in progress but her results are remarkable and I have no doubt it’ll get better soon!! Thank you Annie for your help!!!
